I've imported a PSD logo, and am doing a CC Light Sweep in it, with the 'cutout' mode, which means only what the light sweep is on is shown, kind of like a spotlight. When I select this mode, however, the logo loses the texture and goes to a solid color. Does anyone know why it's doing this and how I can preserve the texture on the text? My only thought was to import it as a.bmp or other flattened image, but then the light sweep effect would be applied to the black background as well. Any thoughts?
